We’re building a handpicked collection of distinctive cottages, apartments, farm stays and small independent hotels across the Cotswolds.

We’re starting deliberately small, reviewing every property and connecting great stays with the destinations, pubs, walks and guides people already use to plan a trip.

HOW IT WORKS

Simple to join. Selective by design.

Apply. Tell us about the property and where guests currently book.
We review. We look at fit, location, presentation and whether the stay adds something useful to the collection.
We build the listing. Accepted stays get an editorial profile connected to relevant destinations, features and guides.
Guests discover you. During the founding phase, bookings continue through your preferred booking route.

THE ROADMAP

From curated guide to useful booking platform

Phase 1 — Foundation

Recruit the first 10–20 stays, keep Founding listings free, finish the visual/content system and track outbound booking clicks.

Phase 2 — First 50 stays

Add filters by destination, property type, dogs, children, romantic breaks, groups, parking and other genuinely useful features.

Phase 3 — Monetisation

Only once we can demonstrate meaningful traffic and enquiries, introduce paid annual plans for new and renewing listings.

Phase 4 — Optional direct booking

Add availability and booking integrations once calendar/channel-manager connections are properly tested. Owners remain free to use Airbnb, Booking.com or direct booking alongside us.

Planned pricing after the introductory period:

Standard — £149/year
Full profile, preferred booking link, destination/search inclusion and editorial consideration.

Featured — £299/year
Everything in Standard plus enhanced placement, stronger presentation and future performance reporting.

Future optional direct booking: proposed 8% commission only where the booking is actually completed through Cotswold Stays. This feature is not live yet.
