No. The first 50 accepted Founding Stays can join free for 12 months, with no setup fee and no Cotswold Stays commission on bookings made through their existing booking route.
No. There is no exclusivity requirement. During the Founding phase, guests can continue to book through whichever route you already use.
Not on bookings that simply click through to your existing booking route. A future optional direct-booking feature is planned; our current proposal is an 8% commission only where the booking is completed through Cotswold Stays.
We plan to introduce paid plans only once the site can demonstrate useful traffic, clicks or enquiries. Current planned pricing is £149 per year for Standard and £299 per year for Featured, with preferential renewal terms for Founding Stays.
No. Cotswold Stays is curated. We review properties for location, presentation, guest experience, character and whether they add something useful to the collection.
No. A brilliant two-bedroom cottage beside a great pub can be just as useful as a high-end country house. We care more about character, location, guest experience and honest presentation.
Owners can supply their own approved images or a press-pack link. By supplying images, you should have the right to allow Cotswold Stays to use them. We will not lift imagery from Google, Instagram, TripAdvisor or another website without permission.
Yes. During the early phase, send us factual changes such as booking links, facilities or contact details and we will update the listing. A self-service owner dashboard may be added later if the collection becomes large enough to justify it.
Yes. We reserve the right to remove or decline a listing if information is misleading, the guest experience changes materially, or the property no longer fits the collection’s editorial standards.
We are building outbound click tracking and performance reporting. As traffic grows, the aim is to give owners useful evidence of clicks, enquiries and eventually bookings rather than asking them to pay without visibility.
