What makes a stay right for Cotswold Stays?

It doesn’t have to be ultra-luxury. We care more about whether a property is somewhere we would genuinely recommend — and whether it gives guests a good reason to choose it.

We especially like

  • Character and a sense of place
  • Distinctive design or thoughtful details
  • Excellent locations
  • Farm stays and unusual accommodation
  • Great dog- or family-friendly features
  • Independent ownership where possible
  • Strong guest experience and reviews
  • Good-quality, honestly representative photography
  • Clear booking information

Probably not a fit

  • Mass low-quality inventory
  • Misleading descriptions or heavily edited imagery
  • Party-house positioning that clashes with the brand
  • Listings with unclear ownership or management responsibility
  • Images without permission to use them
  • Properties well outside the Cotswolds unless they are strategically relevant
