New Brewery Arts gives Cirencester something the prettier villages often lack: a genuinely creative indoor stop that is not just another shop or tearoom. The organisation champions contemporary British craft through exhibitions, maker studios, courses and a well-curated shop.
Exhibitions are free, so it works equally well for a quick look between other plans or as the starting point for a workshop-led weekend.

The galleries, shop and café make this an easy wet-weather option, and the programme of classes ranges from short tasters to more involved craft sessions. Check the current programme before visiting if you want to make rather than simply browse.
Our tip
Combine it with the Market Place and Corinium Museum. All three are close enough to do on foot, giving you a full Cirencester day without needing the car.
